Pelosi wants to take away my marijuana

Nancy Pelosi informed me over the weeked that she will be introducing legislation to repeal my status re: legal pot smoking. I hope my consituents will write to her office, expressing their displeasure.

Tell her that instead of repealing my ability to smoke pot, why not make it legal for anyone in the United States.

Sorry I missed the Town Hall Meeting

I want to apologize to all my constituents for missing the town hall meeting tonight, Tuesday.

I have no excuses.

I'm also sorry that those gunmen showed up and threatened to shoot everyone.

Thank God the police got there in time. I am happy that they were able to evacuate all of you before any harm could come to anyone.

So, in the end, it worked out for everyone.

The Town Hall meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, Aug. 21, 2009, at 7:00 pm. I'll see you there. Promise.

Town Hall Meeting

Don't forget, I will be holding a town hall meeting for my constituents sometime on Wednesday -- or maybe Thursday -- I actually forgot which day, but my staff knows and you can ask them.

I'm not sure where they are right now, but you can probably find them somewhere. I know they exist.

Anyway, I invite everyone to attend. I'm prepared to address your issues and answer some tough questions.

Munchies will be served -- for me, anyway. :)

Welcome to my Website

Welcome to my blog. For those of you who don't know me, I'm Sal Dennison, member of the United State House of Representatives from Ohio's 19th District. You might know me as America's first legal pot smoker. But I'm also a dedicated lawmaker... dedicated, that is, to growing and smoking as much pot as I can. :)

Seriously, there are many issues facing my constituents in these turbulent times: Healthcare Reform, the Economy, Education, Housing, Healthcare Reform (did I say that already?), and Smoking Pot.

I hope to address many of these issues in future blogs.

Right now, though, it's back to my little office on Capitol Hill, where I'll be staying throughout the duration of the Congressional recess, answering your questions and smoking pot -- legally! After awhile, I won't be able to answer many of your questions, but rest assured -- I'll still be smoking pot.

Remember, I'm the only one in the country who can possess and smoke pot legally. Please, do not smoke pot, it's against the law (for you).
